The new Yamaha FZ1 may not be faster than a speeding bullet but the 998cc superbike comes close enough with 0-100 in less than 4 seconds. Ok, maybe not that close, but you get the drift.
As part of their strategy to “transform the (Indian) market from utility to pleasure and lifestyle” the Japanese two-wheeler company has launched their high-end sports model – the Yamaha FZ1 – in India.
With a sleek and sporty look, it comes with a 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed transmission and a maximum speed of approximately 246 kph.
Available in two colours - black and white, the Yamaha FZ1 costs Rs. 8.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
